A Celebration of WHALE with Cheon Myeong-kwan and Adam Levy at Clio’s

Join us for a celebration of Whale at Clio’s in Oakland! Cheon Myeong-kwan will be reading from his International Booker Prize-shortlisted novel Whale, translated from the Korean by Chi-Young Kim, and speaking with Adam Levy of Transit Books about the novel. The event will take place at Clio’s on the corner of Perkins Street and Grand Avenue, in Oakland, California on Tuesday, June 6th at 7 pm PST. Please arrive at 6:30 to relax and select your spot. Light refreshments will be served, and you are welcome to bring your own snacks.
