Christopher Winks

Christopher Winks earned a PhD in comparative literature from New York University, where he has since taught Caribbean and Latin American literature and cultural studies. He has also been a professor at Columbia University, Medgar Evers College/CUNY, the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, and the Universidad Iberoamericana. He has translated many famous works in Spanish, French and German, including No Man’s Land by Eduardo Antonio Parra. He is an author of several of his own scholarly texts and a founding editor of Black Renaissance/ Renaissance Noire.
