Ellen Elias-Bursać is an American scholar and literary translator. During her time studying Russian literature at Macalester College, she studied abroad in Yugoslavia, and later obtained a master's degree and PhD at the University of Zagreb. She is a translator of Bosnian, Croatian, and Serbian, and a former president of the American Literary Translator's Association. Her past translations include authors like Emira Larson, David Albahari, Tomica Šćavina, and Antun Šoljan.
