Artist bio: Anusheh Zia is a London based artist working across photography, sound, installation, painting, film and ceramics. Her work draws from systems and structures of spiritual practice in the Islamic faith, which she explores in relation to concepts of time and the natural world. She studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and Arabic at SOAS. Recently her work has been featured in the Hannah Ryggen Triennale in Norway, as well as the two-person exhibition Sky Circles at indigo+madder in London.
