BIDDING ENDS ON JULY 18TH, 8PM EST

Archipelago’s yearly summer auction takes place in support of Elsewhere Editions, our children’s imprint. As a small non-profit press, the money raised in the auction is absolutely vital in fulfilling our mission to publish visionary picture books in translation.

Just as Archipelago is committed to publishing books from all over the world, the pieces featured in this year’s auction has been graciously donated by artists from all different backgrounds and countries, from Bruno Miguel’s exploration of the layered histories of Rio De Janeiro to Nkechi Ebubedike’s experimentation with the expectations of being a woman in the African Diaspora to the slender, dream-like imaginings of Swedish painter Anna Bjerger.
